About Hannah

Hannah is a communications specialist with over a decade of experience in working with words. She has a passion for stories of all types and enjoys the challenge of distilling a concept into
words and sharing that information in an engaging and accessible way.

She has experience in content and copywriting, creative writing, substantive, stylistic, and copy editing as well as proofreading for small to medium-sized businesses. She’s written on a range of subjects such as insurance, natural health, cannabis, and tourism and is drawn to long-form content such as blog posts, opinion pieces, and newsletters. She is an advocate of the Oxford comma.

Hannah holds a Bachelor of Arts in English & Linguistics from the University of Otago in New Zealand, a Certificate in Editing from Simon Fraser University, and is a graduate of The Writer’s Studio at SFU.

Her fiction and non-fiction have been published in magazines including The Walrus, Diver Magazine, and Grain Magazine. When she’s not crafting content for fSquared, you can find her immersed in a good book, hiking the forests of North Vancouver, or planning her next trip. Travel is a particular passion—she’s been fortunate to have visited over 35 countries and has lived abroad in Mexico, Switzerland, New Zealand, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia.
